Wichita County Broadband Committee seeking feedback from local community

Wichita County, Texas (January 19, 2022) – The Wichita County Broadband Committee is urging the local community to participate in a survey about internet connectivity. Wichita County residents, business owners, ranchers, ag-producers, first responders, community institutions, and healthcare officials are invited to participate in a 10-minute survey designed to assess internet needs and uses throughout the county. Residents can complete the survey in every category that applies to them or their organization. Survey data will contribute to a community action plan tailored to the unique connectivity needs of the county. The plan will leverage community resources and identify solutions for improving internet connectivity for families, businesses, and community organizations.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to participate in the brief survey by visiting this link:

“The Wichita County Broadband team is excited to partner with CN Texas and get this project underway,” said Wichita County Judge Woodrow Gossom. “We want to better understand our community’s broadband needs and put actionable steps in place to improve connectivity for the residents and businesses in Wichita County.”
