Cottle County launches broadband engagement, seeks input from community

Cottle County, Texas (September 6, 2022) – The Cottle County Broadband Committee, in partnership with Connected Nation Texas (CN Texas), just launched a local broadband engagement. The committee is asking residents, business owners, ranchers, agriculture producers, first responders, community institutions, and health care officials to participate in a 10-minute survey designed to assess the community’s internet needs and usage. This engagement is the first step toward improving broadband adoption and access throughout the county.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to share their feedback beginning September 6. Respondents are asked to select the survey category or categories that best represents them or their organization. Access the survey by visiting: https://www.connectednation.org/cottle-county-texas.

“Broadband is an important part of our daily lives — connecting us to businesses, opportunities, and each other,” said Cottle County Judge Karl Holloway. “Join me in responding to the Cottle County Broadband Survey to better understand the connectivity needs of our community.”

Survey data will be used to develop a technology action plan tailored to the county’s unique broadband needs. The plan will leverage community resources and identify solutions for improving internet connectivity for families, businesses, and community organizations.

The Cottle County engagement is generously supported by the Priddy Foundation.
