NeoNova grows its rural broadband footprint with latest acquisition

The firm, which is owned by the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative, is buying the Iowa-based SecurityCoverage.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but NeoNova said the company will remain in Cedar Rapids, Ia, and act as a wholly owned subsidiary of NeoNova.
“Our companies share a common vision: providing superior support and technology to enable our customers to bring better broadband to rural America,” NeoNova CEO Jason McGinnis said in a statement. “By combining our companies, we not only enhance the service portfolio we can offer our customers, but we also add decades of experience and expertise that we can draw on to improve existing and future solutions.”
Tim Bryan, CEO of NeoNova’s parent company NRTC, added: “SecurityCoverage is an industry leader in the customer service, cybersecurity solutions, and technical support spaces. Adding their skills and services enables us to offer even better managed broadband services to our utility and telecom members serving rural America.”
