SCANDIA, MN (KDAL) - 8TH District Congressman Pete Stauber is scheduled to host a House Small Business Committee field hearing titled Small Pete Stauber 300x300Businesses and their Limitations without Reliable Access to Rural Broadband on Thursday in Scandia, Minnesota.

Stauber will be joined by Congressman Jared Golden, the Chairman of the Small Business Subcommittee on Contracting and Infrastructure, to hear from small businesses lacking access to reliable broadband and examine what can be done at the federal level to improve broadband access.

On the KDAL Morning Show Wednesday Congressman Stauber said too many rural communities across Minnesota’s Eighth Congressional District do not have access to broadband and are left behind in today’s technology-driven economy.

The hearing is open to the public and starts at 10 a.m. in Scandia.
