Input from Stephens County residents needed to develop countywide plan for improving internet access and speeds
Stephens County, Oklahoma (October 10, 2023) – The Stephens County Broadband Committee, working in partnership with Connected Nation (CN), is developing a Technology Action Plan for the entire county.
As part of that work, the committee is asking local residents to fill out a short survey detailing their internet needs.
“Those surveys are critical to developing an effective action plan that accurately identifies areas of need across Stephens County,” said Molly Weiner, Director, Local & Regional Planning, CN. “That input will directly inform where and how to tackle the expansion and improvement of high-speed internet access for the county. I encourage every resident to take part in the survey so their neighborhood’s needs are included.”
The residential survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and can be found here: https://bit.ly/StephensCoOklahoma.
A national nonprofit dedicated to expanding opportunities related to broadband, CN has helped develop Technology Action Plans for more than 650 communities across the United States.
