What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?
The Affordable Connectivity Program is a new long-term, $14 billion program created by Congress. It replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program.
This Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program provides a discount on monthly broadband (high-speed internet) bills for qualifying low-income households. The nation’s 20 leading service providers have also joined in to make discounts on high-speed, high-quality internet plans available, impacting more than 80% of the country’s population.
The new eligibility requirements and benefits for the program are listed below. You can also find the two-step process for applying by scrolling down.
