Latency kills: Solving the bottleneck of RTD to unlock the future of AI

Bowling Green, Ky. (May 19, 2025) — DE-CIX and Connected Nation hosted a webinar on May 13 that examined ways to address round trip delay (RTD), a key issue for AI performance.

In this webinar, Ivo Ivanov (CEO of DE-CIX), Hunter Newby (Owner of Newby Ventures and JV Partner in Connected National IXP), and Tonya Witherspoon (AVP Industry Engagement at Wichita State University) delved into how internet exchanges (IXs), edge strategies and advanced interconnection can assist enterprises in minimizing latency, enhancing resiliency, and driving next-generation AI infrastructure.
