Finding Hope: How Digital Works Gave One Man a Fresh Start
Bowling Green, KY. (September 21, 2018) – Not long ago John Wallace found himself in a bad situation. Formerly incarcerated, and looking for a way to start over. He decided to attend the Connected Nation program Digital Works in hopes to change his life for the better.
“I have made my mistake and all I was looking for was a chance,” said Wallace. “Digital Works has given me the opportunity for that chance, which makes a world of difference.”
Digital Works is an innovative workforce-development program that focuses on the growing need for workers who are trained in digital job skills and customer service, and it provides job-placement assistance and career mentorship.
Wallace recently graduated from the program on July 26th, 2018 with a certificate and new set of skills he can use in his future career.
“This program gave me the hope that I will be able to start again and become a productive member of society, allowing me to move forward,” he said. “It gave me hope.”
