Connected Nation Chairman & CEO Talks Digital Works 1,000 Job Celebration
Louisville, Ky (August 18, 2020) - Digital Works, a program of Connected Nation (CN) has just hit a major milestone; reaching 1,000 job placements. Connected Nation Chairman and CEO, Tom Ferree, spoke with RFD-TV, a broadcast group that focuses on rural affairs issues across the country, about how Digital Works goes beyond training and placement to encompass high-demand, telework professions.
“We are so proud today, in particular with the backdrop being COVID-19 it is challenging our employment and our national labor force right now,” said Ferree. “To be able to train folks for telework/remote based work that allows them to live where they are, contribute to their families, and do so in a safe manner is really gratifying for us.”
To celebrate this great accomplishment, Connected Nation and Digital Works employees gathered at the Digital Works location in Oak Grove, Ky., to host a virtual celebration to honor past graduates, staff, and supporters.
