eero to donate up to 5,000 devices to help vulnerable families and individuals get the wifi they need
eero is teaming up with Connected Nation (CN) to launch a community program that aims to help bridge the Digital Divide. This program was officially announced on April 24, 2024.
CN worked with Digitunity to identify three partner organizations (see below) that work directly with communities and households who need faster, more reliable wifi devices so they can take full advantage of their internet connections.
“By donating these devices, eero is taking action to help some of our nation’s most vulnerable communities and households,” said Heather Gate, Executive Vice President, CN. “We are now working together to get eeros into the hands of those who need them the most. eero can help improve wireless connectivity for under-connected individuals and families.”

The program is focused on helping three main groups: low-income families, students, and rural households
Up to 5,000 eero mesh wifi devices will be distributed across the US
Three partner organizations will ship the devices to those with the greatest need
eero Pro will be the type of device donated, impacting an estimated 5,000 people
