Survey Reveals Connectivity is More Important Than Hygiene

What is one thing you won’t leave the house before doing? Bathing? Washing your face? Brushing your teeth? Well, 96 percent of young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 will forgo brushing their teeth if it means they will lose out on precious time with their phones.

Bank of America recently conducted a survey asking people to rank the importance of mobile phone connectivity against personal hygiene, television, and drinking coffee and here are those results from the survey:

·      91 percent said putting on deodorant daily and having their cell phone with them every moment of the day were equally as important

·      76 percent said mobile phone connectivity is more important than watching television

·      60 percent of those surveyed chose mobile phone connectivity over drinking coffee

The survey also asked various questions about mobile banking, online banking, and phone etiquette. Click here to check out the rest of the questions and answers in this survey.
