Online and In Touch: Broadband Simplifies Job Searching
Washington, D.C.: According to Connected Nation research, nearly half of Kentuckians with broadband use it for job searches. Today, Connected Nation, a national non-profit organization whose programs are aimed at closing the digital divide, released a high-level study of broadband’s impact on job searches as part of its Online and In Touch research series. According to the study, Kentuckians turned to the Internet in search of their next job as broadband availability and adoption increased.
