Cause For Celebration: The Internet Turns 25 Years Old!

The Internet turns 25 years old today and the verdict is in: It has been a big plus for society and for individuals users across our nation.

However, the digital divide remains a reality with some 90 million Americans lacking access to high-speed Internet at home. Our teams are working with their partners across the nation to close this divide and bring the opportunities the Internet provides to more homes, schools, and businesses.

It's incredible to see the positive impacts the Internet has had on society, and we're thankful to be celebrating the 25 year milestone. There is much work to be done, but it's great to see the progress being made.
