The panel discussed the multitude of ways broadband can positively impact business and quality of life for rural Texans, including the rise of many new applications that are designed specifically to help agriculture.” The roundtable also tackled the solutions that are being developed to bring better Internet service to the areas that need it most.

Connected Texas has recently launched the Connected community initiative that helps communities form their own Connected Committee technology advisory groups. The local groups are tasked with developing a locally customized plan to bring better broadband access and increase its use in homes and businesses.
