Connected Community Engagement Program rebrands to better reflect work to improve connectivity across the country
Bowling Green, Kentucky (September 14, 2021) – A lot has changed in the last year but from change comes opportunity–for the Connected Community Engagement Program (Connected) that means rebranding to more accurately reflect how the program helps communities, counties, and states.
Connected is a Connected Nation initiative known for engaging communities with data-driven technology planning. To date, the program has helped more than 650 communities throughout the country by empowering local, collaborative, data-driven technology planning to inform intelligent, digital development by working with a local broadband team.
“The new look of the Connected Community Engagement Program represents a fresh start and new opportunities for the communities we partner with,” said Eric Frederick, VP of Community Affairs for Connected Nation. “Our goal with the Connected Program has always been to identify areas of importance through data collection to address each community’s unique broadband needs. We want to set our community’s up for success, and we believe that begins with the look and feel of the brand.”
Connected is constantly adapting and updating to meet the pressing technology challenges and opportunities that everyone faces. The logo refresh is just one of many changes to stay at the forefront of broadband conversations and help more communities become Connected.
Along with a new logo comes a host of other updates including outreach materials for our communities, and an updated program webpage. The brand update represents consistency throughout the program and hope for closing the Digital Divide in our country.
The Connected Program will continue to help the businesses, residents, and schools within communities gain access to the tools and solutions they need to become a Connected community – it is just getting an updated look while doing so.
