Internet 101: Free Training Resources Offered by Connected Nation

Bowling Green, Ky. (March 17, 2020) - The White House and public health officials announced today changes to telehealth initiatives and recommendations in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.  Those changes include expanding Medicare immediately to cover telemedicine.

Officials suggested patients call their doctor's offices if they had questions about telehealth services offered by their physicians. The White House also provided this fact sheet of frequently asked questions in a press release that followed this afternoon's news conference.

In addition, official recommended that family members of senior citizens provide technical (computer and internet) support for those who need it while maintaining as much "social distancing" as possible. Connected Nation offers free, online training to help seniors and others in need navigate a world that has now become almost completely digital.
